Misleading Brands

Don’t always trust a logo!
A logo is a symbol typically used to show a brands value and be recognised by the public. As a consumer you tend to see a particular logo and feel that it is trustworthy. For example… Apple/Disney.
However, you can be fooled sometimes by these logos as they don’t always mean what you think. They can be misinforming. For example, Trading Standards Logo. If you saw a car dealer displaying a Trading Standards Logo, you might feel reassured that all the correct guidelines are being followed and that the car has had a full honest provenance check. But you shouldn’t. It has been made clear to me that car dealers are able to display this logo, and in doing so misleading you into thinking this, and then still selling you an ex-taxi/ex-police vehicle without disclosing it to you. Unbelievable or what!

Flaws in Motor Ombudsmen?
How do I know that the description is accurately describing the vehicle which I’m looking at, even though somebody is showing the CTSI Motor Ombudsmen logo. The Truth is you can’t, even if you tell the Motor Ombudsmen, they have NO interest in abiding by their own guidelines – shame on them. Surely, it’s better to deal with the underlying issue.
Is the logo being displayed legit? You don’t always know, if you are in any doubt, then you can get a VAL Check!
